UK Open Surfboat Championships 2013

Fistral Beach, Newquay, Cornwall

The UKSRL Open Surfboat Championships are scheduled for the UK surfing capital

This is were the surf rowers, river rowers and coastal rowers go head to head in surfboats to find out who is the best Mens and Womens surfboat crew in the UK.

From 2006 to 2012 the surf rowers have won the trophy (it has been a close run thing). The river rowers are learning the skills very quickly with crews from Thames RC and Nottingham RC making regular visits to the event.
